This medicated lotion contains fragrance, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, glycerin, magnesium aluminum silicate, methylcellulose, light mineral oil, methylparaben, polyethylene glycol-100 stearate, polyoxyethylene 4 lauryl ether, propylparaben, polyoxyl 40 stearate, propylene glycol and purified water. Ammonium Lactate Lotion is basically for dermatological use and is not meant for ophthalmic, oral or intravaginal use.

It is used for the treatment of scaly skin (Xerosis), dry skin and also on vulgaris. Patient’s hypersensitivity to any of the label ingredients should not use this lotion. The treated skin should not get sun exposure and should also be minimized or simply avoided. Ammonium Lactate Lotion, 12% should be used only after the recommendation by the doctor. Contact with lips, eyes and mucous membrane should be also avoided. Nursing mother should always consult a medical professional since many drugs are actually excreted through human milk.
