Even though rosacea is quite common facial disorder it is often overlooked by the people. Due to this it affects the features of the face. If no treatment is taken then it will badly affect the over all structure if the face. However in any case they do affect the facial features. They cause redness all over the face or certain affected areas of the face.

A person tends to develop pimples and bumps which are irritating. The nose may start enlarging in some case due to the swelling of the blood vessels of the nose.

The skin looks dry and rough. All these factors affect the self esteem of the people to a great extent. The confidence of the people reduces and they feel more conscious about themselves. They become red especially when frowning or smiling. There are several laser treatments and surgical operation that helps in reducing the amount of damage it has cause to the skin of the affected person but they do not cure completely. One has to be patient when dealing with rosacea.
