Can Extensive Bruising Be Caused by Medications?

Bruising is a common problem which is most frequently caused due to unobserved internal bleeding occurring because of sharp hit on the external skin. But often easy bruising can be a result of medications consumed by an individual. Often medicines contain toxic elements that are harmful for the health of people and the symptom is seen in bruises.

Hence you should be careful about all type of herbal, synthetic and over-the-counter medicines that you pop in. The acne-sol powder that is applied on the skin often by people with skin problems can cause bruising. Aurothioglucose, Comtan, Butazolidin and Claravis are few other medications that cause health problems which manifest in bruises. There are other medications as well which include Filgastrim, Granocyte, Myocrisin Injections, Gold-50 injections, Neupogen, Zonegran, Sotret and many more that are common reason for bruises. As it is not possible for common people to know what are the possible effects of the medications they take in, it is good to consult a doctor and consume drugs that are prescribed after considering the health condition of the patient. You should also let the physician know about the allergies you might have so that they can suggest a medicine which will not cause hazardous side effects like easy bruising.
