How Safe Is Nonablative Laser Resurfacing?

Nonablative Laser Resurfacing is a process that works beneath the surface of the skin in order to better the texture as well as the skin tone. This procedure triggers dermal healing without causing any damages or injuries to the epidermis. In fact, according to several experts the hallmark of this treatment is to induce improvisation of the skin without causing any injury of sorts to the epidermis. In the treatment mid-infrared layers are released to penetrate deep into the skin.  These lasers create healthier and beautiful looking skin without causing any damages to the outer layers. Miraculously there is no downtime associated with these treatments.

Unlike the conventional laser treatments, Nonablative Laser Resurfacing are minimally painful and does not even require any induction of anesthesia. However, in some treatments topical anesthetic agents may be applied at least one hour prior to the initiation of the procedure. Cold packs and other cooling liquids can be immediately applied on the skin surface to avoid any chances of injuries on the skin. The best advantage of this treatment is that there is a minimal post recovery period in which the skin experiences the appearance of negligible side effects of the treatment. Most of the patients apply a minimal makeup to hide the temporary side effects and resume their normal lives.
