How Long Can Rosacea Last?

At times, Rosacea is misinterpreted as common acne which can lead to disease being untreated. The Rosacea disease is very chronic and is non curable It can outgrow in some patients but mainly it is seen that redness occurs in the central portion of the face.

It causes the inflammation of the skin mainly around the areas which is more sensitive like lower portion of the nose, cheeks, around forehead and also around the chin. One should avoid more flushing as it tends aggravate the condition, the blood vessels around the area gets more dilated. Excessive flushing of the face causes inflammation. The blood vessel gets dilated during flushing and rubbing of the face. The condition stays for very long periods. Initially you would find redness of the nose which might be neglected by many as these symptoms come and go. 

 The symptoms may appear for some time then they would disappear, but these symptoms keep coming back. It lasts for several years and symptoms keep repeating them after some period of time. As it is known that the disease is incurable, but if untreated can worsen. If untreated it causes rhinophyma, it is a condition where the nose grows. It is mainly seen in men.
