Rosacea causes redness of the skin. It almost covers the three fourth of your face. It cause the dilation of the blood vessels of the face causing it to look much red than normal. The common symptoms of Rosacea disease are redness of the skin, flushing of the skin, cysts, red bumps and also cause burning sensation. This symptom shows for some days and suddenly they vanish for some time. After few days of no symptoms the Rosacea disease might erupt again.
This generally occurs in stages. It causes the inflammation of the skin mainly around the areas which is more sensitive like lower portion of the nose, cheeks, around forehead and also around the chin. One should avoid more flushing as it tends aggravate the condition, the blood vessels around the area gets more dilated. The Rosacea disease may appear and disappear with time. The Rosacea disease also affects the eye in some people. People complain of burning and dryness of the eyes. Also grittiness of eye is reported in many instances. It causes redness of the eye lid and sensitivity to light. If untreated can cause a severe damage to the cornea. |
