When a person is infected with scabies a skin rash will appear, producing tiny red blisters and bumps, that only affect certain parts of a human body. Scabies tend to appear on a person’s waist area, knees, wrist, elbows, webs of their fingers and toes, genital, and buttocks. After a period of time, the scabies bumps might begin to have a crusty blood look. This is very informative to a person so that they will know that not every bump had or has a bug.
Scabies affected humans that are healthy and ones with poor hygiene. A person could have numerous pimples and bumps, but there are not over 10 to 15 scabies mites that are alive.
This rash usually appears on a person’s face, head, neck, sole of their feet or palms of their hands. The foot rash generally occurs only with infants and smaller children, than adults and teenagers.
A scabies mite will make tunnel type burrows on a person’s skin varying from 1mm-15mm in length. They are so tiny that you will not even be able to see them unless you have a microscope. Scratching the area will destroy the tunnels, but you will want to make sure that you do not because that could cause the mites to spread. |
