What Types of Treatments are there for Infant Eczema?

Infant Eczema causes inflammation on the skin. As a worried mother, you certainly cannot bear your child getting distressed with irritation on the skin, itchiness and appearance of red rashes. There are varied natural as well as medical treatments available to provide instant relief to your infant. Among many, the best treatment, as suggested by most of the pediatricians, is the use of % hydrocortisone cream. This cream must be applied as a thin layer only on the affected areas of your baby’s skin. Further, another good remedy to treat this disease is by keeping your child’s skin moisturized. There are many lotions, especially designed for the treatment of infant eczema, that soothe the infected skin. You can also keep the entire room of your baby moisturized by locating a humidifier at an appropriate place.

Pure almond oil also works as an excellent soothing agent for the inflamed skin. Do not give regular baths to your child as water steals away the essential moisture content of the skin which may further aggravate the dryness and itchiness. In case the baths are absolutely unavoidable, make sure to keep the duration of the bath real short.
